Pharmabridge Collaboration for Virtual Education
At the FIP Cape Town congress, Pharmabridge launched Pharmabridge Goes Virtual! Program under which we offer continuing education courses to Pharmabridge participants. Professional Organizations and universities provide these courses and their quality is guaranteed.
Currently available courses are:
American Pharmacy Association APhA – Free courses
Pharmabridge has agreed with APhA that Pharmabridge candidates could also attend the free courses listed in the Learning Library.

American Society of Hospital Pharmacists (ASHP) –Certified courses
Pharmabridge candidates have access to ASHP-certified courses at a reduced price paid by Pharmabridge. The ASHP learning center can be found at the address – elearning.ashp.org
The courses for Pharmabridge are certified, and some of them are also FIP-sealed.
In the Pharmabridge registration form, you can propose a course in the “NEEDs” box and provide reasons why you should take the course. Pharmabridge will make the decision and inform ASHP and FIP about the course. For more information about ASHP visit- About ASHP – ASHP
Collaboration with Aston University School of Pharmacy – Long-distance learning courses
Pharmabridge is working with Aston University School of Pharmacy to provide global connections and collaboration with interested pharmacists to support and strengthen pharmacy practice, education and science.
Aston University School of Pharmacy has extensive experience in providing virtual training for a wide range of professionals globally and is working with the Pharmabridge programme to support virtual exchange and learning with pharmacists around the world.
Through Pharmabridge, we will support any interested pharmacists in training in the following four programmes:

- Programme 1: Research skills- This course covers- Research proposals, Grant writing, Publication writing, Poster writing and Presentation skills.
- Programme 2: Education skills- This course includes- Pedagogy skills and theory, Clinical workshop design, Assessment design, Feedback and support approaches, Active approach to student-focused CPD
- Programme 3: Knowledge-based skills transfer- This course covers- Clinical pharmacokinetics, Formulation development, Pharmaceutics Pharmaceutical sciences and Mental health
- Programme 4: Science skills- This course covers- Statistics and data handling (for health sciences), Technical training workshops (Laboratory operations, cell culturing, HPLC analysis, fluorescence analysis, GMP, tabletting technologies etc)
Aston University School of Pharmacy courses last for 6 weeks and more depending on the program.
To participate in this course, you have to express your interest in participating in the education offered by Aston University School of Pharmacy in your Pharmabridge candidate registration form. Pharmabridge will send the information about your interest to the school. The Aston University pharmacy school will decide about the participation.
Candidate Selection is based on CV and precise goals from the programme and also on the number of participants the program can admit.
