FIP Foundation and ECPG Innovation Research Grant
Applications for the 2026 grant are open from 19 February and close on 19 April 2026 at 23:59 CEST.
The Foundation, together with the FIP ECPG, awards a grant of EUR 1,000 for the implementation of a project by an ECPG member. The grant serves to encourage innovation in pharmacy by an early-career pharmacist or pharmaceutical scientist who has limited resources for their own research. Projects can stem from any field of pharmacy (practice, science, or education) but must focus on innovation that improves the practice of pharmacy or the advancement of pharmaceutical science with direct clinical application.

Applicants may be asked to briefly present the details of their project via a virtual meeting during the selection process.

Congratulations to the 2026 ECPG Innovation Research Grant Winner:
Nada Kassem, PharmD, is an early-career pharmacist and independent clinical researcher based in Paris, France. She collaborates with international multidisciplinary research teams and has contributed to multiple peer-reviewed publications in clinical epidemiology, public health, and pharmacy practice. Together with her research team, she is comparing the recommendations of generative large language models with the expert opinion of clinical pharmacists in local antimicrobial stewardship guidelines. She hopes this research will help define how AI can safely support clinical pharmacists and improve patient care. After all, the future belongs to pharmacists who collaborate with AI rather than compete with it.
