FIP Foundation and ECPG Innovation Research Grant

Applications for the 2024 grant are now closed!

The Foundation, together with the FIP ECPG, awards a grant of EUR 1,000 for the implementation of a project by an ECPG member. The grant serves to encourage innovation in pharmacy by an early-career pharmacist or pharmaceutical scientist who has limited resources for their own research. Projects can stem from any field of pharmacy (practice, science or education) but must focus on innovation that improves the practice of pharmacy or the advancement of pharmaceutical science with direct clinical application.

Congratulations to the 2024 ECPG Innovation Research Grant Winner: 

Ms. Ana-Katharina Elsa Gehrke is from Argentina and won with the project: “Lactococcus lactis carrying staphylococcal protein A as a new weapon to fight against Methicillin Resistant Staphylococcus aureus skin and soft tissue infections”

I would like to express my most sincere and deep gratitude for the financial support granted for the project “Lactococcus lactis carrying staphylococcal protein A as a new weapon to fight against Methicillin Resistant Staphylococcus aureus skin and soft tissue infections”. It is an honor to have been selected as the recipient of the FIP Foundation ECPG Innovation Frant 2024. This represents an unique oppotunity to make a contribution to society in the biomedical field as well as to enrich my training as a pharmaceutical scientist.
