“Advancing the development, the production, the distribution and the clinical application of medicines globally, though simulation of education and research in low and middle income countries”
Response to a drug varies widely between populations. As a result, pharmacotherapy needs to be adjusted to get the best effect. This requires insight into the magnitude and mechanisms of the variation in treatment response. The aim of this programme is to share the principles of “population analysis” to low- and middle-income countries, through education and training, and by establishing a network for exchanging expertise. This will enable the analysis of regional variations in treatment effect in countries, as the basis for effective treatment with medicines worldwide.
